Installer Cost = System Size (W) × this rate.

Installer Split (% of margin above the floor)

Installer's share of Net Margin ABOVE the Minimum Installer Profit floor below — the rep gets the remainder. The floor itself always goes 100% to the installer and is never split with the rep.

Minimum Installer Profit (floor)

Hard floor SED keeps in full on every deal — the Total Portal Price is bumped up (within the PV/battery price caps) whenever a rep's price would leave less than this, so a deal can never be sold low enough to expose the company below this amount. This floor is not shared with the rep; the rep is free to sell right at this floor and take home $0, or price higher to earn their split of the margin above it.

Battery Only Floor — 1st Battery

Separate, lower floor used only for Battery Only deals, since the floor above is sized for full PV installs. Default $5,750 = $1,000 labor + $3,500 installer margin + $750 disconnect + $500 BOS for the first battery.

Battery Only Floor — Each Additional Battery

Default $1,000 = $500 additional labor + $500 additional installer margin per battery beyond the first.
